OUR STORY

We are Jim & Stephanie Carbin and we live in Millstone Township, NJ. We are avid bird hunters

and enjoy guiding, as well. We are committed to breeding exceptional Brittanys from great hunting stock

to keep a great line going. Please feel free to contact us to schedule a guided hunt, inquire about a puppy,

First, welcome and thank you for your interest in becoming part of the Laurel Woods Brittanies
Family. I would like to share some background about my family, history behind the name,
and our breeding process.
 

My wife, son, and I are a family of first responders. We’ve been firefighters for many
years and Millstone, New Jersey is where my wife and I call home. I have had Brittanys
since my youth and in 2008 we started what is known as Laurel Woods Brittanies with our
dog, Roxy.
 

For our breeding process, we keep a female from each litter in order to hunt, train, and hunt
test them. After having their hips OFA certified (Orthopedic Foundation of Animals) we look for
specific males to sire a litter of puppies. 
 

We are keeping a great hunting and family line going hence the reason for select breeding and
not over breeding. If you’re sincerely interested in becoming part of the family there are
several steps in the process. First, we send out a questionnaire to all interested families. Once
that is returned and evaluated, we will put you on a list in the order of your pick.
 

Before you decide, I provide a list of references. If you would like to move forward after
your inquiry with our previous clients, I will send you the questionnaire.
